Curious Clinicians

In my free time, unrelated to my clinical/research work, I am a co-host of the podcast The Curious Clinicians. The goal of the podcast is to help re-invigorate some of the joy and curiosity about the human body that leads people to careers in medicine. Each episode explores a curiosity question in medicine, and here are a few favorites of mine:

  1. Why do your fingers wrinkle when they’re submerged in water?
  2. Why do we have such a sensitive ability to smell the rain?
  3. Why “don’t” elephants get cancer? (Spoiler alert, this is a myth, they do)
